Chinu, that is sort of right. Relativity.

Existentialism is a very hard concept to get, or better yet "see in one's mind's eye". Most people do not understand it. Even most professors do not understand existentialism. It is misused a lot these days to mean real or an end to existence, but that is not what it is. That is a modern two dimensional bastardization of the word by people who truly do not understand the idea.

It is impossible to explain, except to say it is a state of mind whereby one is able to sort of see a larger reality than what most see. E.g. there is not one shred of evidence for any religion on earth. Not one shred, yet most people on earth believe one myth or another.

It seems when people learn a myth at an early age whether religion or cultural norms and mores, they cannot shake them. Existentialism is a state of mind where a person "FINALLY" sees the fantasies for what they are.

Zen I think, is a similar state of mind.
