I think that is correct.

People have had to do that throughout history. Darwin waited 20 years to publish is Origin of Species he was so afraid. Mark Twain would not let his daughter publish his letters on Christianity until after his death. And even today people like my extended family, all atheists, have to tread carefully.

We do honor the laws, probably more than most. One of my friends a judge, just came back from Denmark. He pointed out how everyone stops for lights to turn green to and how much they cooperate. Demark is almost totally left wing and atheistic.
