I have no idea what your philosophical discussions are about. Odd? Others seem to have followed ok. Maybe you can indulge me and point out to me what your point is? Not so much a singular point in particular as a willingness to engage, explore, open and broaden topical issues as you or others present them. You've thrown out concepts like scripts, dogma, a particular political side having the upper hand on facts, the need to be right rather than stupid, and human bondage. If I've provoked thought and consideration, confusion, disorientation, or even a little nagging doubt then I've met my objective which is to move things off the comfortable givens and into an area of concern and curiosity. Your foundational stance is/was existentialism which to me is not so much conclusive as a willingness to be in the moment (to be) and go with the flow of ideas (to actively experience the uniqueness of circumstance). So, as I hinted at in my first post, foregone conclusions, preconceived notions, and the limitations of a particular orientation on all positions usually have a tendency to block that type of flow. I could go on but ... as I understand it, the volume of my content is annoying you.
