Okay, perhaps that would be overkill [the only good shark is a dead shark]. But some species extinction would be okay by me. White pointers and other human predators could go the way of the dodo and it would not worry me. The only good malaria is a dead malaria. Same with

smallpox
hiv
H5N1
mosquitoes
fleas [the sort that bite me]
house mites [the sort that make allergens]
sundry cancer causing viruses
people who really really annoy me [child rapist murderers and similar]
actually, a lot more human vermin too who go around attacking people as predators [some government types would be on notice]
various genes such as haemochromatosis, cystic fibrosis, and whatnot which cause much pain and suffering with no countervailing benefit

I'll stop as the list will get long. Basically we need intelligent gene pool filtering. There will of course be dispute about what would make a good gene pool. Child murderers would have a different point of view from me. So would smallpox and mosquitoes. Too bad for them.
