I don't have "faith", I just haven't seen anyone come up with something better, and I don't believe it is possible to make the changes, even if someone did. I find no value in debating the blatantly unrealistic. We have a two-party system and that isn't about to change. Even if one of the two parties crashes and burns, there will be one and only one to replace it, so we'll STILL have a two-party system. I could see us moving to dictatorship as the Left gains more power by virtue of paying voters for their support. But my guess is the country will tap out before that happens.
