Dr. Iomega.

First, thank you for the response. I think I can speak for all us longs and say we surely appreciate it.

Second, if I did not believe that IOM has some of the sharpest minds in the biz calling the shots, I would not have my money in it. I listened to the last CC in toto and KE impressed me as a man who knew exactly what he wanted and how to get it. Still, the market is a ruthless place, and some of the the competition also has some pretty sharp cookies calling the shots.

Third, if I understand you correctly, IOM now knows SparQ cannot affect Jaz margins significantly this Q, and will probably wait until next Q to lower prices. I can certainly see the logic there. But I want to tell you, as a consumer who wants a Jaz NOW, I am now frustrated - but in a nice way .

Fourth, I am a real believer in Clik! But it is a long way off. Just as I won't worry about HiFuD until it ships, I won't count Clik! dollars before they are hatched.

Some new questions.

1) Do you know anything about SparQ reliability? We've heard the first gen software is buggy, but what about the hardware? Cheap or well built?

2) Does IOM think that the next round of Jaz price cuts will pretty much finish SparQ off?

3) Is IOM prepared to go to the mat over 1-2 GB removables? In other words, since IOM can certainly afford to undercut SparQ's price and still make a profit on each sale, is it prepared to always match or beat SYQT's prices, or is it content to allow Jaz to be priced a little higher believing it to be a better product than SparQ?

Again, I really do appreciate your time and effort, and if you cannot answer my questions for any reason, then just say so, and I'll drop it.
