Quaterra Resources (QTA-V) increases placement to $2.98-million, oversubscribed.

Sept 5, 2013 - News Release

Quaterra Resources Inc.'s private placement announced on Aug. 9, 2013, has been oversubscribed. The company now proposes to issue up to 29.81 million units at a price of 10 U.S. cents per unit for gross proceeds of up to $2,981,000 (U.S.). Each unit will consist of one common share and one non-transferable share purchase warrant exercisable into one common share at a price of 15 U.S. cents for a period of three years from the date of closing. Net proceeds from the private placement will be used to advance the company's Yerington district copper properties and for general corporate purposes. Securities issued will be subject to a four-month-plus-one-day hold period from the closing date. Cash finders' fees may be payable with respect to the subscriptions accepted by the company. The private placement is subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange and the NSYE MKT Exchange.
