From the Dec 8th Barron's page 21, return on equity is regarded as the second most watched ratio by the pros. Due to Quantum's structure, it s return on equity is frequently in the 30 to 40% range which is very oncommon, esp in a stock which doesn't sell at a p/e of 40 or so.
