The bailouts and other subsidies are crony capitalism and rent seeking. I didn't say there was none, there is plenty, I only said that low interest rates aren't an example of it. (High CEO pay and pensions aren't examples either, although they can at times be partially the result of it.)

Of course bailouts and subsidies are examples of what I've been complaining about all along. Big government sticking its nose in to the economy and businesses. The more this happens the more you get bailouts, subsidies, restrictions on competition, regulations designed to favor one company over another,etc.

Best just to get the government out if it can be done (which is very difficult, and will remain very difficult)
