Rep. Gowdy: Administration hiding Benghazi survivors, changing their names
August 2, 2013 by Janeen Capizola
U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy went “On the Record” with Greta Van Susteren Thursday night and said the Obama administration is “changing the names” and “creating aliases” for the Benghazi survivors to prevent lawmakers from finding and questioning them about the events on September 11.

Van Susteren and Gowdy, R-S.C., responded to the explosive new CNN report of “unprecedented” CIA intimidation to keep operatives from speaking to reporters and Congress about the terrorist attack on the consulate. A source told CNN that 35 Americans were on the ground in Benghazi when the U.S. Consulate was attacked and 21 of those worked in the annex reportedly run by the CIA.

“I would love to interview the survivors. But the administration is doing everything it can to hide them,” Van Susteren complained to Gowdy. “They’re dispersing them around the country. And the CNN report shows even CIA operatives who were there are getting intimidated from above. “

“Including changing names, creating aliases,” Gowdy told her. “So you stop and think – what things are most calculated to get at the truth? Talk to people with first-hand knowledge. What creates the appearance and perhaps the reality of a cover-up? Not letting us talk to people who have the most amount of information, dispersing them throughout the country and changing their names.”

If Boehner and Republican Senate leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) don’t have a coherent strategy

they do have a coherent strategy.......capitulate to the Democrats while appearing to stand up to them.......maintain control of the party and get re-elected...........if you spent just a little time doing some research.....you would see the truth............if the shoe was on the other foot, you would feel the same way.
