The President Obama Stimulus plus the social safety nets such as Fixed Pensions, Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid and Unemployment Insurance put in place by Unions and Liberals stopped the Great Recession from becoming the second Great Depression. What do you think happened? the adoption of repug austerity?... That's pure speculation. There was no great depression coming. What he has really done is to extend the economic slowdown rather than letting the economy reach its cyclical low so that we can have a true recovery.

I love it when you nutjobs make absurd statements like this. There is NO evidence to suggest that is the case at all. In fact, a strong argument can be made that the Obama stimulus served to prolong the recession, just as the FDR "stimulus" managed to drag the Depression out for a full decade. I understand your party commitment. But do you ever think you should actually look at the facts?
