I'd never sign a contract calling for such payments. In any case I wasn't a PFE shareholder at the time (at least not outside of funds which may have contained some shares), and so it isn't really my business (or only marginally so if I owned a small amount indirectly). What PFE pays its employees, from the bottom all the way on up to Chairman and CEO, is the business of PFE and, to the extent they care, its shareholders. Its really none of the business of third parties.
