I agree, I figured it out. Told my broker I didn't want to be more than 20% margin but seem to be at about 40% right now. Can get out but IDC is under 5 right now and for some reason they haven't called the margin on that. Will contact new broker and ask if I can switch with the margin. Broker said that all my stocks count toward my total account balance. That made me start looking for another broker. Not sure if I am ready to just trade on-line but am going to take the plunge. His "tips" have lost me half of my equity+. So think I can do a better job myself or if I can't, then it's my own fault.
