Why is their something other than nothing. If you are implying it would take a god to create something, who created god? It doesn't matter whether it is a god or universe that existed first.

And ironically I think that is what happens. Gods are created in the universe all the time.

The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle (HUP) explains why there is something rather than nothing. It says anything can happen.

But try to think of nothing. Good luck.

As far as emotions go, we can see those in our primate relatives. They are all just a result of evolution.

Consciousness, time, math and quantum physics are all things we notice work, but don't really understand very well.

We just use them at this point as we are probably just too stupid to understand them.

So who knows?
