Thanks for the information. I've got my download procedure fixed up now. I had been using Datacon's 'convert' instead of 'update' because that way, I had one master database in TC2000 format, and any splits or MF distributions would be done against that database and the Metastock format completely refreshed from that every day. Now, I need to do split adjustments in both databases, but this setup gives me the rest of what I wanted. I'm using a batch file to run Datacon against the various metastock directories. Re. reading the early posts on this thread, I have been following this and the TC2000 threads for over a month now, and before that read back selectively to reach my decision to purchase Metastock and TC2000 vs. the competative products. I agree there is much useful information on these threads, but sometimes getting just the right nugget is like panning for gold, lots of sand and dirt out there too. CL
