That is my truck driver friend. I doubt he has enough equity to do a reverse mortgage. His 100k IRA is his only real money, except for his SS checks. I feel bad for him, while at the same time I know he made good money for many years. Lack of financial discipline, always having to have the next want, has left him in the lurch. Should have given him a copy of The Richest Man in Babylon years ago. Speaking of which, I recently ordered six copies from Amazon for less than $30. Gave one away already.
