The Republicans' mistake is that they are not proposing anything that would be an improvement, either over the old system or to Obamacare, and that makes them look like mere obstructionists with to real suggestions. They need to propose legislation to replace Obamacare. It would be EASY to create something far better that would provide the benefits without devastating the health care economy and damaging the larger economy. The idea is to get rid of Obamacare while making the Dems look like the damned idiots they are. It won't do to just accomplish one or the other.
