Hi Wayners; Re fascism and communism, nice notes on the Aryan root race. I vaguely knew that the Nazis had some weird secret religious beliefs. I should get a book on the subject. People believe crazy stuff.

And I agree, the difference between the Nazis and the Communists was that the Communists believed in "international socialism" (equality and fairness between all people in the world) while the Nazis believed in "national socialism". That's what "nazi" means, it's an abbreviation for national socialism.

The difference with the Nazis was only a question of primarily who should share equally. The whole world? Or just your own country? The Nazis also had a thing for Jews but they needed a scapegoat. If there had been no Jews to blame for the loss of the Great War (1914-1918), the Nazis would have blamed somebody else. They could not accept the fact that they had been beaten.

Hitler and the Nazis had no trouble whatsoever allying themselves with the Japanese who are hardly Aryan. They saw the Japanese as a different nation pursuing its own goals in a dog-eat-dog world.

Sure it is. The Aryan Race stuff is straight up social darwinism. Which is the life blood of wingers. As to crony capitalism, look no further than the Bush II administration.

The mythology of the Nazis is very reminiscent of the mythology of the American Right. Y'all have a very convoluted mythology that just isn't rooted in reality. Many of the things y'all accuse the Left of, y'all are doing or want to do. Like what the Nazis did.
