Please forgive me, as I need to read your post carefully and I'm running out of time. Need to go.] Emile, I'm going to do my Little House on the Prairie thing, part of the middle age crazies I continually go through, and walk to work. Actually I like to explain my life as a continuous adolesence which somehow never goes away, so I can't be expected to act like an adult. Anyway, have been waiting to walk to work in the snow now for months. Point I'm trying to make: We have Alan, who at this point can see no good thing in some of the gentile followers of Jesus, and considers us neo-nazi cheerleaders, and for good reason. I can even read that between the lines if I look. And personally I know lthat the Lord Jesus Christ has been diirecting me to somehow communicate with these embarrassing and dangerous hate groups for a long time. The reason: THEY JUST TRIED TO HIT NANCY WITH A BULLET HOPEFULLY TO KILL HER. Or the boys, which is worse? Which is more dispicable. Emile, Nancy is a Sister in the Lord. So is her husband. If you don't see something so horrific in this it chills the bone to the marrow, then I must know why. Then we have You and Robert, who obviously Love the Lord very much, I do believe this, and post the reality of the new covenant, but in so doing tell me that in your eyes God has instructed that you CANNOT and MUST NOT see anything of Jesus Christ in anything coming from a Jewish person by birth. That's what I'm struggling with. Emile, I do love you, and I know you so much want to let everyone know what is going on, but somehow here I'm just not seeing the precious love of Jesus Christ, I'm seeing a fear that any of us will find one speck of good in those who "killed Christ". Now, I agree with Alan. There is something of that that kind of rings of things ......well, I think it is obvious. And I know this can't be true. So we must work it out and I must go to work, but I think a lot of good knowledge can come out of this, and maybe we uncover little paths within scripture that were not necessarily meant to be taken, and that would be a great joy to our Lord Jesus Christ to make sure we are not again twisting his words and making them of no avail. YES. I BELIEVE THERE IS ONLY A NEW COVENANT WITH GOD. THROUGH JESUS CHRIST. BY HIS DEATH AND RESURRECTION. THE OLD COVENEANT IS FINISHED, WHICH WAS ANIMAL SACRIFICE. Actually the Old Covenant was always to love the Lord thy God which appeared to Abraham in Spirit and Moses in the burning bush with all your heart and soul and mind. That covenant was never done away with, obviously. But show me where Jesus ever instructed people to reject the Old Testament and stay away from it, and to renounce their Jewish birth and follow him. That's the scriptures I'm lacking right now. Or what rules do you see laid down that we can accept Nancy and Alan, being Jewish by birth, and being of the seed of the Anti-Christ? I am serious, and at the same time am almost howling, and I hope Nancy is too. Alan isn't, but Nancy is, I know it. If you have answered this, please forgive me, and I 'm not trying to be funny, this is just a very serious problem and point that can be, as Peter says in the last chapter of the Peter II, where the unlearned "can wrestle to their own destruction" i.e., getting so confused they could even end up falling away over this illogical standpoint. Do you see what I'm saying? And this warning, I believe was made BY PETER, specifically ABOUT THE WORDS OF PAUL, and here all of the words of Paul are the only words I hear quoted that there is only gentile Christianity now. Please correct me if this is wrong. These scriptures turn out to be verbal illusions. You can read them a lot of ways, and make connections not meant I believe. ANyway, please read the warning of Peter.
