The problem I have seen is that the left has decided anything bad must be "rightwing" lol Real world definitions are meaningless. I have yet to see them mark anything bad leftwing. In cases such as Bill Ayres et al they will simple call them a freedom fighters. Leftwingers never have and never will do anything bad.

It's just a name. Under Hitler, it was closely allied with corporate entities. In 1920, it was socialist. In 1940, it was not. By then, it was, as Orwell would put it, "doublespeak."

Just like in America, the parties don't necessarily stay the same over time.

And don't go by Jewish Virtual Library... I know the guy who runs it. I've had lunch with him. He's quite the right winger. 80 percent of Jews would tell you that Hitler was right wing (including me).
