Glen, Many are creeping back up. Lousy news doesn't mean anything to the stocks. Right now, I am light on the puts, as Xmas always sends the bulls into Pollyanna City. Especially when the cos and the retailers lie about their sales levels until they are required to report them for real.

I hate lots of stuff. MU and GTW are turkeys. Amat and Nvls are doomed with their customers going belly-up. HWP is a great company, but very overpriced. Compaq and Dell are out to lunch on their prices. IBM's price has no relationship to planet Earth.

However, that being said, I am beginning to dislike other areas even more than the techs. The brokers are silly. Why would you give a premium multiple to an industry that has a net site called www.scumbags.com? -g- Banking, awful prices that have come down a bit. Insurance? Nobody even knows what they do, yet they capitalize it highly. The big dopers are out gouging the public again and it is just a matter of time before the govt. has to slap their fannies again. The hotels are dependent upon the bubble economy, which has to burst soon. Lots of put ammo here. MB
