I realize your partisan script mandates a simple response... more money. It has already been shown that flooding failing schools with money to turn them around does not make a difference. However, there is extensive research on the specific problems and recommendations for educating children living in a culture of poverty which are worthy of consideration. Generational poverty presents specific issues of which education is only one factor in the set:

That's not true. When real money is spent, and the schools become as good as the rich suburban schools, the kids show marked improvement in their grades.

Your post is the GOP meme............it doesn't matter how much you spend......poor kids are not saveable.
