The kind that is so sick of Republicans demagoguing Obama that you would go in the opposite extreme to support him.

I think most of Obama's supporters these days are stuck in this boat. They're left having to pretend that Obama is such a great president only because they think the Republicans are worse.

Maybe that's understandable, if it wasn't the same song-n-dance for the past two decades.

The problem is that wingers like Tenchu cannot accept that some things, like the Arab Spring and what is happening in Egypt and Syria are beyond our control.

Which is likely a good thing. The risk of winding up on the wrong side of history is very high. And the long term ramifications of that are extreme.
