LOL! What's 9 billion years among co-belligerents.

"People are starting to read the bible."

Excellent! There they will find that they are sinners and that Jesus died and rose again for their justification

Hi Jewel

I was saying that if God does not exist, as many are saying, then the constitution isn't worth the paper it's written on. we could just as easily write another that said the opposite and it would be just as valid. The point is that the constitution posits it's authority on a creator God that exists , and has revealed Himself to man. If God exists but we can't know anything about Him then we are essentially in the same boat as the Atheists.

I'm not advocating such a thing, since I believe the Bible to be a direct revelation from God Himself. I have a basis for morality and ethics that transcends what I happen to feel like at any particular moment. I don't think the same can be said for Atheists and Agnostics. What is your basis for these?

Greg
