(NASDAQ:MRVC) announced that recently released IDC Market Share Survey in LAN Switching indicates a strong gain in MRV's market share, for the first-half of 1997. According to IDC, MRV's NBase Switching division share in workgroup switching segment increased from 3.8% in 1996 to 4.6% in the first-half of 1997.
