"The Company is pleased to announce that they have engaged the services of Behre Dolbear & Company, Inc., Minerals Industry Consultants, Denver, Colorado. Behre Dolbear will supervise the drilling, collecting and testing of all sample material retrieved from the new drilling project at the Franklin Lake Property. The scope of Behre Dolbear's participation in this project will encompass an extensive geological evaluation of the Franklin Lake property to determine the proper drilling equipment in order to reduce cross contamination of sample material as much as possible. They will supervise the drilling and collection of at least three (3) splits from each 10-foot or smaller appropriate sample interval. The samples will be placed in sealed containers until delivery to testing laboratories. Due to current controversy involving Naxos and their previously reported assay results, Behre Dolbear intends to proceed deliberately and with rigorous controls which either meet or exceed standards of the mining industry, US securities exchanges, and any other regulatory body associated with this project. Initially, sample material will be shipped to Ledoux & Co., Teaneck New Jersey, where the seals on the sample containers will be broken and the samples tested under the supervision of Paul Blumberg and Behre Dolbear. Several methodologies will be used to test the sample material; namely, a proprietary recovery process, Naxos' fire assay process, and standard fire assay. Check samples will be sent to other laboratories. Ledoux & Co. has agreed to locate a testing lab at Franklin Lake Property, which will be staffed and supervised by appropriate personnel from Ledoux & Co. Consequently, the quantity of sample material tested will increase measurably from current testing levels." This is from April 28 1997! What is taking so long? HL
