Most voters continue to believe the Muslim-American U.S. Army officer now being tried for killing 13 of his fellow soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas should be sentenced to death if convicted.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 58% of Likely U.S. Voters think Major Nidal Malik Hasan should receive the death penalty if convicted. That’s down from 65% in November 2009 just after the shootings occurred. Twenty-one percent (21%) oppose the death penalty for Hasan, while another 21% are undecided. Top 100 Black Mob Violence Videos #71: Minneapolis

April 13, 2013
whitegirlbleedalot.com

Minneapolis has one of the most persistent and vicious problems of black mob violence in America.

Happens all the time.

Here’s an article I wrote on it.

Black-on-white link in Minneapolis violence

Here is what it looks like in person:

Minneapolis Mini Riot 9.10.11

These are just some of the hundreds of examples of racial violence and lawlessness in more than 80 cities around the country as documented in my book: White Girl Bleed a Lot: The return of racial violence to America.

Thomas Sowell said : ”Reading Colin Flaherty’s book made painfully clear to me that the magnitude of this problem is greater than I had discovered from my own research. He documents both the race riots and the media and political evasions in dozens of cities.” – National Review.

Walmart Mocks 'Nation' Over Low-Wages Paid to Interns

by John Nolte 7 Aug 2013 139 post a comment

The Daily Beast reports that Walmart is a little tired of being criticized over how much it pays its employees, especially by news outlets that regularly use no-wage or low-wage interns. In an open letter to Walmart, the left-leaning Nation called on the nation's largest private sector employer to raise the pay of its employees. Wednesday, Steve Restivo, senior director of communications for Walmart, fired back.

In an email with the subject header, “people who live in glass houses…”, Restivo wrote:

The Nation—“America’s leading progressive print and online magazine”—recently encouraged its readers to sign an open letter demanding that Walmart increase wages to $12/hour and this article called our company one of the “biggest abusers of low-wage labor.”

In an ironic twist, ProPublica recently reported that starting this fall, “interns at the Nation Institute will be paid minimum wage for the first time in the history of the 30-year-old program.” As ProPublica noted, The Nation has been paying its full-time interns a weekly stipend of $150 per week—less than the current federal minimum wage rate of $7.25 per hour.

According to the Daily Beast, Walmart pays its store employees an average of $12 to $13 an hour, which works out to around $25,000 a year.

the nation replies

It seems The Nation now admits that raising employee pay means fewer jobs. After announcing it would begin paying these interns minimum wage, it said this:

"We are using the renaming of the internship program as an opportunity to restructure. Rather than having web interns and print interns, as we do now, we're merging those positions. Nation interns will research and fact-check for the magazine, in addition to assisting with daily web projects on TheNation.com. Not only will this provide interns with a more diverse range of skills, we believe this reflects the increasingly integrated nature of print and web journalism, in general and in The Nation's newsroom. We are not yet certain how this will work out longterm but for the fall we are anticipating hiring ten interns rather than twelve. If we need more interns, we will revisit for the spring and hire accordingly."

Report: Obamacare May Raise Insurance Premiums 400 Percent

Insurance companies are saying premiums could increase up to 400 percent as a result of Obamacare. WMDT reports:

"The estimated increases would be tied to the cost of implementing the new regulations, taxes, fees, and mandates in the health care reform law," the anchor says. "The average increase is expected to be about 100 percent and could be as high as 400 percent, according to a report released on Monday."
