Sub Sahara: I was in the basement of the Sahara once. I was applying for a dish washing job when I was desperate (around 1974). The personnel manager at the casino just said, 'get lost hippie.' So I grabbed my backpack and hitched to Mexico and camped on the beach for the winter... much better choice. I wouldn't do that these days though, they are lopping off heads down there.
