This was a pre-planned day of protest by some social groups in the Montreal area. It got more coverage than normal because it got a little out-of-hand in one or two places. Rumors of Canada having food shortages are still greatly exaggerated at this time. However, if it doesn't snow soon, we'll be importing wheat from China.
