Yes, there was fear by some that high tension lines were linked to cancer. And they were, but as research showed, they weren't causal. When science established that, the concerns receded. Unlike wing nuts like you who greet scientific proof that your theories are all wet as signs of a massive conspiracy... Which illustrates a major difference between liberals and conservatives. Liberals adjust their beliefs to reflect the facts. Conservatives want to adjust the facts to fit their beliefs.
