You should be able to use the Gurufocus.com interactive chart valuation option w/ the free membership. I did. All I had to do is register w/ my email address and select a login password. The service seems to remember me when I go to the site (perhaps cookies are installed).

As far as values, for me I can always find something but I look everyday. I recently bought IPI the only U.S. domestic Potash supplier. TBV is $12.22/share so it is somewhat undervalued as the large integrated global companies typically sell for just a slight premium to their BV. Also, I typically will hold a stock 18-36 months (if not longer). Many value investors do not have the patients to wait and/or to hold a position as the company grows. I try to stay 100% invested but now I am holding a bit more cash than usual (about 7%) and do own more bonds/preferreds than normal (about 30% of the portfolio).

Some of my better conservative value buys this year was SVU debt for $0.80 cents on the dollar. Now valued at 1.15 cents on the dollar w/ a 8.5% coupon (bought when priced at 13.5% yield to maturity). Bought some deep discounted preferreds (rather than buying the common shares). Many are selling at/near par and pay monthly distributions too.

Always open to new ideas and/or value propositions. We have a pretty good (intelligent) group on this board. I appreciate the input from everybody as at times I overlook items (ie pension liabilities) and/or may have my blinders on when evaluating the value proposition. So you may get challenged on your idea(s) but that's a good thing.
