Trayvon was 17 years old, does one year make a difference? A lot of 17 yr olds served in the military.... Should he have had a gun?

If an 18year old can serve in the military and die, why can he not also possess a handgun anywhere in this country?

Why not start giving out guns when they are 11-12......whenever they hit puberty?

The same argument was used to allow the sale of alcohol to 18 year olds. Look how that turned out.
