as a new full-time day trader for the upcoming year I would like to know where i can find information on taxes...how day traders file taxes as full time investors...what is deductable, how much etc etc
i remember reading several months back on a newsgroup the definitions/laws/limits of losses etc which were different than those for people who do NOT do it as a profession
those who do it as their mainstay have different tax rules etc
thanks for posting where I can read about this

Why do you think ALTN is going to be down 10% by weekend. They are up 5/16 today and have positive news re: pacts with Genentech.

Also do you buy/short stocks thathave large movemements on any givven day. ex. Anchor gaming has been down on consecutive days and Merck has been up on consecutive days.
