I think what is going on is that the "market" likes solar as a new technology. It is just a question of how it will unfold as to timing and the ultimate success as an energy producer. <<Concerning the chart of earnings misses that you posted.....Was the tech market as a whole tanking about that time or was it just SUNE?>> I think most companies were doing quite well over the period. The quarterly misses for SUNE were over a 4 year period. Most companies were doing well, and very importantly, they would meet, or beat, their estimates. SUNE, as the chart shows, missed their estimates 12 out of 16 times over that 4 year period. Don
