"First of all, the methods for reversible sterilization are few and sucky.

Second of all, it's totally unfair to make it so that the wealthy can reproduce. OTOH, it should be easy for people to decide not to do so and still have sex. Because sex is awesome."

It IS "easy for people to decide not to do so and still have sex". Yet our global population continues to increase. I think we can come up with better methods of reversible sterilization - there really hasn't been a lot of demand for the procedure.

It's because "sex is awesome" the we need to have everyone reversibly sterilized. Because human over-population is at the ROOT of so many of our seemingly insolvable problems. From global warming to oil shortages and on and on.
