Noted these : There are 540,000 words in the English language today, that is 5 x's the number of words in the time of Shakespeare. A weeks worth of NY Times contains more information than a person would likely encounter in their lifetime in 18th century. And estimated that 4 exabytes of unique information will be generated this year (4.0 x 10^19th) more than the last 5,000yrs. Technical information is doubling every 5yrs so that 1/2 of what students learn the 1rst year could be outdated by their 3rd year in school. By 2050 a $1,000 PC will excede the computational abilities of the entire human species. What does it mean? (and they dont tell us the answer, have to wait for the next video) ;-)
