The one thing I would like to see with foreclosure laws, and I am not saying the offering of citizenship to foreigners who purchased foreclosed homes in depressed areas (with the requirement that the live in the home for as number of years) isn't a good idea (somewhere in the past I saw a newspaper article on this being done by the city of Toledo, Ohio on its industrial waterfront section) is some requirement that the lender offer the same foreclosure terms to the former owner if they would otherwise qualify for the loan.
