I have said similarly in past posts but it seems to elude them. They keep rehashing welfare, unwed mothers and Blacks being on welfare, biases held in some places. These are outmoded views but you can't change some elderly folks who grew up with these thoughts. I wouln't be surprised if these folks still believe that intelligence discriminates races and resides in the white race only. Its frustrating because they are used as excuses not to do anything or to punish........like you would a three year old. We gave you welfare.........you abused it so we are taking it away. Tough love. As if that solves anything.
