You agree that the present system is not leading to success for most welfare children right? Yes I do. What we differ on is the way we need to solve that. I do not agree with your suggestion that we need to solve single parenthood by stressing on marriage. I suggested that you consider out-of-wedlock along with divorces. Both have a negative effect. But we do not want to talk much about divorces because these are high in our society. Would you read a sociological study that said the single most important factor in a child avoiding being raised in poverty is marriage? While you want to confine yourself to a desk and analyze data, Isn't this what businesses and scientists do when they want answers that will work? Isn't this what a lot of people in Silicon Valley do? Why are you against doing this? Unless you are trained in the field to do your own research isn't that the only way we can get a plausible answer on a subject like this?
