S&P REITERATES STRONG BUY OPINION ON SHARES OF APPLE (S&P Capital IQ) From his Verified Twitter account, Carl Icahn announces a "large position" in AAPL and that he thinks it is "extremely undervalued." We note that our 12-month target price is $550. Icahn indicated he spoke with CEO Tim Cook today, opining that a "larger buyback should be done now." While we do not have further specifics on the stake or when it was purchased, we believe Icahn's position in, and potential role as an activist in, AAPL could have a notable positive impact on the stock. We do not think Icahn Capital owned AAPL as of Q1 and expect a new 13F filing for Q2 by Thursday. o~~~ O
