The day may come when your envisioned robotic health care is in place, but I don't think we will see it in our lifetimes--although it is evolving in that direction.

I think our first priority ought to be to get an abundance of primary care physicians, preferably Americans as they understand the cultural context of pathology better than foreign trained Docs (IMHO), equitably distributed throughout the nation and not just in desirable living places. To that end I think governmental policy should subsidize the training of physicians who contract to give the government 2 years of service as a primary care physician for every year of subsidy (minimum 8 years of service) in a place of the government.s choosing.
