Or he may simply have a relative who is gaming the system, or who he believes is gaming the system, and he's projecting his reality on to all folks getting government services. When you have a personal axe to grind, it's hard not to see everything as a tree. Unfortunately, anecdotes aren't like assholes- we all have them, of course, but at least an asshole you can check, if you want to, even though it might be a little unpleasant, unless you're a dog. Anecdotes, though, are about as reliable as pixies and leprechauns, and about as easy to check on. My anecdotes all run counter to Neolib's. So we could, I guess, play "Anecdotes to the Death"- or we could just move on. I'm for the latter at this point.
