I really don't know. We all project, except where we use statistics. And yes, sure, I'm extremely driven, but by the time I finish with them, so are most of my students- even the ones who used to be at risk. And I know the families of my students really well at the end of 3 years, and I know the poor families, and they are, for the most part, working really hard- that's not a projection, except of my own experience. The statistics on assistance are that most people use it for short terms help. And that's pretty great. There's a lot of fraud in disability- and I say pay people bounties on finding the scumbags using it fraudulently. I am 100% for helping people, but also 100% for rooting out fraud- because the fraudulent are actually hurting the weakest members of our society, by turning people against these programs. And I'm for paying huge bounties on those docs who submit false claims for people who want to be on disability- because those white collar criminals are total parasites.
