Yes, that release puts an even more positive spin on it for CKFR. Momentum continues to build for CKFR's product while MSFDC fiddles about with plans to start its beta test in "early 1988."

Here's an interesting story about "smart" cards being tried out in Manhattan by Chase and Citi -- mainly for small purchases -- an entirely different market than CKFR is targeting, IMO.
