CGB, You Are The Archetypical Female: "George, I really appreciate some of your comments, but don't really consider my idealism bereft of factual support. I don't write anything that is presented as factual without doing research, and I try to keep very clear the difference between that and my OPINIONS." Almost everything you write is penned in fire, not, necessarily, fact. The fire forms an altar of dedication and hope. The shyness of fact is irrelevant. Take the reading matter, age of start: Reading coordinates audial and visual discrimination to produce a more refined and efficiently functioning neural, or whatever, pattern. It ain't a whim thing. This I know. You consider it debatable. You be wrong in this debate. Your absence of need for concrete foundations is a blissful matter. You live in fervor. (When I was too young to appreciate that value, I let go a similar idealistic extremist - to my lifelong sorrow.) That this species now dominating this puny planet cannot logically support instincts such as yours speaks poorly for the species, not for your instincts. Why did you waste whole long paragraph on James? Is it worth it? We, the species, will no doubt cease to exist - but maybe some of its more commendable aspects will rise again, less contaminated by "competition," to lift the quality of life, whatever that is. geo
