I am mystified about reits getting nailed lately.

Many reits are still trading at 14-18 P/E ratios, so they deserved a correction. But the reits in my portfolio are 8 to 11 P/E and they've been whacked too. That's the way things go. I've not been trading much. Added some cheap pref stocks lately.

mpw got smacked around some after they issued their secondary at a discount. and i added a bit to my holdings as the yield went above 6.2%. I figure that yield should be pretty secure long term and offers inflation protection too. will just hold on to it forever i hope.

fwiw based on technicals i am calling the bottom in silver and gold. we shall see
