I guess I'm objecting to how much more philosophy is preoccupied with Theodicy, which is I think not a question at all compared to the one I gave.

I think the deal here, is that evolution is based on everything killing everything else. I got that from Joseph Campbell.

But we humans are thinkers and kindness is the exact opposite of everything killing everything else .

Interesting equation if you think about it.

Se we are addressing a new paradigm that I believe is integral to the system of consciousness.

So we need to think differently, we need to adapt to the new rules of the new paradigm.

I think philosophers who deal with utilitarianism often tackle this question, but those philosophers are also often hated :-)
