Maybe their announced 5% layoff had something to do w/ it. It looks like IBM for the first time in decades are announcing some "forced" layoffs and plant closures. IBM Layoffs Strike As Company Eyes New Markets IBM has laid off an undisclosed number of workers this week as the company intensifies its focus on some of some of the technology industry's hottest markets. . . . FoxBusiness is reporting that the layoffs have affected more than 1,600 positions. Layoffs Begin As AOL Looks To Close Or Sell 400 Patch Sites It looks like our stimulus is losing traction at least in the high tech space.
