KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Aug. 16, 2013) - FISSION URANIUM CORP. ("Fission" or "the Company") (TSX VENTURE:FCU)(OTCQX:FCUUF) is pleased to announce that Ted Clark has been appointed to the Company's Executive Advisory Board.

Mr. Clark was recently appointed Chief of Clearwater River Dene Nation on July 7, 2013 and is also owner of Big Bear Contracting Ltd. Clearwater River Dene Nation ('CRDN') is a First Nations band government in northern Saskatchewan and includes the area of Fission's Patterson Lake South property.
