CNN: LATEST OBAMACARE DELAY 'COULD HAVE A HUGE POLITICAL IMPACT'
..............................................................
Breitbart ^ | Aug 15, 2013 | By Wynton Hall

On Thursday, CNN senior reporter John King said that the Obama Administration’s most recent delay of a key Obamacare provision that was supposed to limit consumers’ out-of-pocket expenses on deductibles and co-pays could prove seismic come the 2014 midterm elections.

“This one particularly though could have a huge political impact,” said CNN reporter John King. “Because as you mention, hidden in bureaucratic language, the end result is that when these changes kick in, the Administration promised for most Americans your costs would go down. Now it is saying, at least in the short term, your costs could be higher than you anticipated.”

In 2009, President Barack Obama promised voters that his Obamacare healthcare scheme would lower costs to consumers.

“We will place a limit on how much you can be charged for out-of-pocket expenses, because in the United States of America, no one should go broke because they get sick,” said Obama.

But a little-noticed ruling slipped into the Labor Department’s website said the cost caps would be delayed until 2015--a date that critics say is designed to protect vulnerable Democrats from angry voters in the 2014 midterm elections. Analysts say the consumer cost caps on out-of-pocket expenses will necessarily mean skyrocketing healthcare costs for Americans, as high costs for sicker citizens are shifted to healthier Americans who pay less for health insurance.

As Avik Roy of Forbes points out, this is hardly the first time Obama has delayed key portions of Obamacare:

First, there was the delay of Obamacare’s Medicare cuts until after the election. Then there was the delay of the law’s employer mandate. Then there was the announcement, buried in the Federal Register, that the administration would delay enforcement of a number of key eligibility requirements for the law’s health insurance subsidies, relying on the ‘ honor system’ instead.

King said Republicans will use the Obamacare delays to illustrate to voters that “this is big government gone bad” heading into the 2014 midterm elections.

Obamacare health exchange enrollments begin in less than seven weeks.

Harvard Law School graduate Barack Obama recently lectured that, "If we don't deepen our ports all along the Gulf -- places like Charleston, South Carolina; or Savannah, Georgia; or Jacksonville, Florida ..."

The problem is that all the examples he cited are cities on the East Coast, not the Gulf of Mexico. If Obama does not know where these ports are, how can he deepen them?

Obama's geographical confusion has become habitual. He once claimed that he had been to all "57 states."

FAMILY RELEASES PICTURE OF SEVEN-YEAR-OLD BOSTON BOMBING AMPUTEE

Jane Richard is just seven years old, but she bears the scars of the Boston marathon bombing attack that killed her brother, eight-year-old Martin.
She is missing her left leg below the knee. The family has now released a picture of little Jane smiling and standing on her crutches. The picture is a marked contrast with the rock star cover of Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev run by Rolling Stone this month.

Barack has cost the US another ally
........................................................
Coach is Right ^ | August 17th, 2013 | Jim Emerson, staff writer

Losing an Ally

The Egyptian Military has lost faith in the United States. The final straw was the Obama’s Administration overt support for the Muslim Brotherhood. This betrayal of a decades long friendship has driven a wedge between the US and its principle, longtime ally in the Middle East. The Egyptians know they cannot count on Washington for military support so they are looking towards Moscow. The Egyptian/Russian relationship is nothing new. During several skirmishes against Israel the Egyptian military used weapons supplied by Russia to fight against the Jewish nation.

In the 70’s Anwar Sadat ended Egypt’s relationship with Moscow and sided with America. Of course he was later killed by Muslim Brotherhood gunmen,
predating the raise of al-Qaeda.

Morsi

Mohammed Morsi was installed as President of Egypt after the Arab Spring revolt of 2011. He was chosen to lead the nation in spite of the fact he actually lost an incredibly corrupt election. In fact it was the pro-Muslim White House resident and his female lackeys of Jarrett, Powers and Hillary who put pressure on election officials to install Morsi.

Muslim Brotherhood

Egypt is the home of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Oprah: Just Because You're Not Using N-Word, Harboring Ill Will Towards Black Doesn't Mean You're Not Racist

by Ben Shapiro 16 Aug 2013 2276
breitbart.com

On Thursday, CNN’s Anderson Cooper interviewed Oprah Winfrey and Forest Whitaker, stars of Oscar-bait The Butler.

During the interview, in which Cooper thoughtfully nodded as Winfrey and Whitaker race-baited, Oprah suggested Emmitt Till and Trayvon Martin were equivalent symbols, and that Americans were racist even if they didn’t have ill will toward black people. When Cooper cited polls showing that black Americans were upset about Trayvon Martin and whites thought too much had been made of the case, Oprah sighed, “Oh, I know, I know. That’s why I love the film in light of this discussion is because it brings context to this discussion. I mean, look at the film, beginning with that lynching scene and ending with walking into Obama’s office, look at what has happened in the span of one man’s lifetime.”

Whitaker chimed in,
“This movie reminds us of the circular motion of things still trying working themselves is going on, as in Emmitt Till, and we’re looking at Trayvon, we’re looking at Oscar Grant, we’re looking at all these situations and recognizing we have to move ourselves forward with this change.”

Oprah said, “Emmitt Till became a symbol for those times as Emmitt Till has become a symbol for this time. I mean, there are multiple Trayvon Martins whose names never make the newspapers or the headlines. The circumstances surrounding that allowed that to be. There were multiple Emmitt Tills, there were multiple lynchings, there were multiple young black boys whose names are not remembered and often not even recorded.”

Cooper asked, “It’s amazing to me how people from different backgrounds see this.” He then talked about a juror “who did not understand, did not feel linked to Trayvon Martin, felt connected to George Zimmerman in a way, but not Trayvon Martin, she felt race was not part of this case at all.”

Oprah couldn’t wait to jump in, blurting, “People don’t feel it’s race because people don’t call it race…A lot of people think if they think they’re not using the n-word themselves, they physically aren’t using the n-word themselves, and do not harbor ill will towards black people that it’s not racist. But to me it’s ridiculous to look at that case and not to think that race was involved.”

AUG 13 2013 For the Journal of the American Revolution, Todd Andrlik compiled a list of the ages of the key participants in the Revolutionary War as of July 4, 1776. Many of them were surprisingly young:

Marquis de Lafayette, 18
James Monroe, 18
Gilbert Stuart, 20
Aaron Burr, 20
Alexander Hamilton, 21
Betsy Ross, 24
James Madison, 25

Some more ages, just for reference:

Thomas Jefferson, 33
John Adams, 40
Paul Revere, 41
George Washington, 44
Samuel Adams, 53

The oldest prominent participant in the Revolution, by a wide margin, was Benjamin Franklin, who was 70 years old on July 4, 1776. Franklin was a full two generations removed from the likes of Madison and Hamilton.

But the oldest participant in the war was Samuel Whittemore, who fought in an early skirmish at the age of 80.
